BISTRO TATAU offers a range of dining experiences and options.

Restaurant

The ground floor restaurant is accessed off the corner of Main Beach Road and Fugalei Street. Providing dinner and full waiter service, the restaurant generally seats around 45 people but can seat up to 65 people. Alternatively it can accommodate up to 100 people in cocktail format.

Private VIP Room

Also located on the ground floor, the VIP Room is accessed through our main restaurant doors entry. The space is also fully air conditioned, highly flexible and can be used as a private dining or function room, a venue for seminars, conferences, workshops, meetings, exhibitions or other gatherings. The room provides a private space for diplomatic or family gatherings in a cosy atmosphere. The room is decteorad with a range or Polynesian art including works by Michel Tuffery and Fatu Feu’u. For bookings of 12 people or more there is NO hire fee. Renovations undertaken in 2024 have made this more of a dining room within a “gallery space”.

Catering

We can provide catering services for a host of functions either at the restaurant, the private VIP dining Room, or off-site at your venue. We have catered for a wide range of events including diplomatic functions (generally around 250 – 300 people), sit down, a la carte weddings, or buffet style banquets for up to 500 people. Unique menus are created for each occasion commensurate with budget, the type of event, the location and the facilities available.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are available for any amount you should choose. These are a perfect (and highly sought after) gift idea or special “thank you”. Our gift vouchers enable you to include a personal message or greeting. As well as our normal gift vouchers we are able to customize gift vouchers for special events such as birthdays or for Christmas.
